RESEARCH STEPS
In order to have a good research study with reliable results, you will have to make your research plan and organize it in different steps. Below are the steps that we used for the completion of our survey.

STEP ONE - DECISION
The first step for our research was trying to find the perfect field of study. Since we are a group formed only by student-athletes, we decided that choosing to search about the experience of other student-athletes was going to be very interested because it relates to us.
STEP TWO - RESEARCH
Once we discussed and chose our topic, the second step was starting to do our primary and secondary research.

STEP THREE - LEGAL DOCUMENTS
Like any other field of study or job, any research has its own legal parts. For this project, we were required to have our IRB approval request, a proposal, a general consent from Cornerstone University, a formal email, and finally, the CU IRB Certificate of Achievement.
STEP FOUR - CREATION OF THE SURVEY
This is the most important part of the entire research project. The survey has to be made in a perfect way so it will be easy to take for our sample population and therefore, it will be beneficial for us because we would get more reliable answers and better data to analyse. For our research, we have decided to use a Google survey because it is easy to use and to read the data collected.

STEP FIVE - SENDING THE SURVEY
Here is where, after checking that our survey was completed with all the questions and seeing that those questions are the proper ones that will give us the information we want, we send the survey to our selected sample population - student-athletes from public and private universities. For our research, we decided that the best option of sending the survey was via email directly to other students.
STEP SIX - COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF DATA
This is the last step of the research project. As the name of the step says, we collect all the data obtaining from the survey. We then analyse the data so we can come up with conclusions. This is also one of the most important steps in any type of research because it does not really matter whether your survey was perfect, if we do not do a proper analysis while analyzing the data, then everything we did before would be useless.
